NHL Preview 2018-19 Western Conference Final Game 3

St. Louis Blues vs San Jose Sharks Betting Odds & Prediction

The St. Louis Blues and San Jose Sharks meet in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals playoffs on Wednesday night, with the Blues having gained the home-ice advantage following a 4-2 win in San Jose on Monday night (15th May 2019) to level the series at 1-1.

Having won the first game of the series 6-3, the Sharks will be disappointed not to have built on that victory in Game 2 and are now the team under pressure for the two games in St. Louis.

Jaden Schwartz has nine goals in the playoffs for the Blues. Alex Pietrangelo has 10 assists and Vladimir Tarasenko has 54 shots on goal. The St. Louis Blues are allowing 2.7 goals per game and are killing 76.5 percent of opposition power plays.

The San Jose Sharks do have Logan Couture on their roster, whose two goals in Monday’s loss goals gave him an NHL-leading 13 in total this postseason. Erik Karlsson has 13 assists and Tomas Hertl has 55 shots on goal. They are are allowing 3.1 goals per game and are killing 82.8 percent of opposition power plays.

In terms of our NHL playoff predictions for Game 3, the momentum has swung to the Blues in this series and home-ice advantage might just prove decisive here.  The Blues are therefore the tips at odds of -140 on the Money Line with bet365. The Sharks are available at +125 at Betway Sports.

Pick: Money Line – St. Louis Blues @ 8/11 (bet365*)
