It’s been a good week for William Muir – his runners are going great guns at the moment, so our horse to look for this Saturday is his BIG BAZ (2.35 Newbury) .
Yes, the horse has a bit to find with some of these on these terms and the most likely winner looks to be Sir Michael Stoute’s Consort, but William’s horse looks a fair e/w option in the race – as long as the 8 runners stand their ground. His 5 year-old was well-beaten last time at Royal Ascot in the Hunt Cup, but was a nice winner the time before.
Ok, this is a step up in grade too, but it’s interesting William decides to go back up in trip with him – wasn’t stopping over the extended mile a few runs back. He’s sure to be ridden to get the trip and we’ll know more about what William thinks about his chance in the morning, but, for us, the horse could be the e/w value in the race.
